Boys weekend at Mimi's & GG Rogers

Bobby took Brayden to Mimi's and GG Rogers so I could enjoy a little girl time by the pool. I missed Brayden so much, but from the looks of these pics he was too busy to miss me! :) After seeing some of these, it's probably better I wasn't there... I would have been too much of a "Mom" and not wanted him to touch some of this stuff! ;)

Home of the Brave!

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! We had a great weekend! Brayden was scared of the fireworks and held on to us as tight as he could, but he didn't cry much. He did start to enjoy them towards the end of the night. :)

As you can see in the last picture, he is starting to learn Patty Cake!

Cruisin' w/ Jayde!

This was the most adorable thing I have ever seen! Jayde drove Brayden around in this little Escalade for over an hour! Brayden loved it! There were also fireworks going off that scared Brayden. Each time he got scared, Jayde hugged on him so he wouldn't be. It was so cute!!

Helping mom vacuum!

While I'm vacuuming Brayden has to get in front of the vacuum and chase after it. We decided to put him on top of it! He held on pretty well! It was too funny!

Water Baby!

Brayden loves the water and as you can see, he is quite spoiled! He has a water play yard, a small whale pool and a big pool! Of course, they aren't all in our backyard...

Unloading the dishwasher, already?!!

Brayden decided to help mommy out unloading the dishwasher!

You can't take your eyes off these little ones! You turn around and this is the type of thing they get into! From what I hear, it just gets worse!

Brayden loves to ride around on his turtle. We attached a rope so we can pull him around the house. When he reaches the tile, he flies! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa DeBolt!

Happy Birthday Brayden!!

Brayden's birthday! I can't believe it's been a year! It's been an awesome year and we couldn't be happier! We are so blessed to have such a beautiful little boy!! I couldn't help but remember what life was like a year ago... thinking about our drive to the hospital, wondering if we were having a boy or girl, and that first glance at our precious little boy! What an amazing experience!

Hospital Stay...

About 2 weeks ago Brayden was in the hospital. He is great now, but it was quite a scare for the doctor to call me and tell me to take him to the hospital. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights. They put him on an IV drip and wanted to observe him. In the end, they figured it was probably some type of enterovirus. We are just thankful he is happy and healthy now! Here are a few pictures... as soon as the IV drip kicked in he started to do much better and gain his energy back.
