Bumbo time!

Brayden now enjoys being in his bumbo some! He might not fit into it too long with those legs growing like they are!!

Brayden had his 4 month appointment on Friday. He will be turning 4 months on the 6th! He is definitely a little chunk! He weighed 16 lbs 7 ounces! Almost 10 lbs more than when he was born. They measured him at 25 1/2 inches long... 5 1/2 inches longer. Quite the healthy baby! They said that we can start him on cereal soon. I can't wait to try for the first time! I think we will put him in his bumbo and spoon the cereal in. So much fun to experience all these "firsts" with him. Next we will be trying veggies!

Baby Neptune...

Brayden loves his new baby Neptune turtle! He loves to hold Neptune close and definitely enjoys chewing on him!

Rather be naked!

What a cute little onesie! Brayden loves getting ready for bath time and getting his clothes off from the day. We think he knows a bath is coming when he gets naked... a big smile always comes along!

In my jumper!

Brayden loves being in his jumper! He isn't quite jumping around like he will, but he is definitely testing out the bounce and seems to enjoy it!

My blue eyed boy...

Brayden has the biggest blue eyes! They are just so pretty! Pictures don't do them justice! We are hoping he keeps them, but we won't really know until he's around 6 months or older. I think they might be getting a little lighter with time, so I'm hopeful! No matter what he's adorable! ;)

Lovin the water...

Brayden really loves being in the pool! As you can see, he gets a very serious expression when he gets in the water. Swimming is a serious business for him! Maybe he will be the next Michael Phelps! Haha!

Grandpa and Brayden were tired on the boat, so they both got comfortable and took a snooze!

Trip to the lake!

We went to Fort Gibson lake over the weekend. They had a baby pool where we were staying and Brayden loved it! No tears or even a whimper. He was completely content in the water. We also rented a pontoon boat so we had to put him in a life jacket. He wasn't as uncomfortable in it as I thought he would be. He spent most of the time on the boat sleeping, but also enjoyed his new surroundings while he was awake. It was a great weekend!

Cooing, Smiling, Laughing!

Brayden is cooing, smiling and laughing so much now! He's such a happy boy! We love sitting and talking with him and watching for his adorable smiles and coos! You can tell he wants to talk so badly, but he just can't get it out yet. :)

Brayden has also discovered his hand! His fist is quite often in his mouth as far as he can get it. He is definitely fascinated with it!

Mom's Favorite Moments...

There is nothing more wonderful than taking a nap with Brayden! I knew being a mom would be wonderful, but you really don't know the depth of how great it really is until you are a mom. I am overwhelmed by my feelings for him at times. I am so thankful Brayden is in our lives and feel so blessed to have such a sweet little boy! He is absolutely the most wonderful thing ever!! Here we are taking a nap together. :)

Brayden's 1st pool experience!

Brayden was introduced to the pool over the weekend! He did great in the water! It scared him a little the first time the water hit his belly, but he got used to it.
