Tulsa State Fair 2012

Happy to be at the fair again!!

Petting zoo! We walked around looking at all the animals and THEN he discovered the brush. We then had to go around again to brush all of them! Ha!

So a few weeks ago Ashlynn started to sit up on her own more... now she's got it down pat! Last week she started scooting across the floor to get to things... each day she gets faster and faster! Am I really ready for this??!!! NO! Of course I love experiencing all these "firsts", but in a way they are "lasts" for me as well... makes me hold on to each moment even more! It's going so fast!

And, she even started holding herself up... of course we have to put her there, but it probably won't be too long before she starts pulling herself up!

Chewing on the side of the pack and play... we have a feeling another tooth is coming through! Her two bottom teeth were the first to come in about a month ago.

Brayden's First T-Ball Game!

These little guys and girls are so fun to watch! It was definitely hilarious at times watching them run around pretty much clueless. We'll get better though! :) It was a beautiful night and such a wonderful experience! Worth all the rushing around and prepacking of things for all of us! ;)

T-ball!

The day after I signed Brayden up for gymnastics a friend called and asked if we wanted to sign up for fall T-ball! Wasn't sure I was ready to do both each week, but knowing how much Brayden would enjoy it, I signed us up! We had practice on Saturday and it was so much fun! Our first game is Tuesday!

Brayden started Gymnastics last week! It was so much fun watching him... almost felt like I was watching a video of myself when I was his age! :) He absolutely loved it and is excited to go back each week! Heck, he was bummed he had to wait a week!

6 month check up!

Well... now that she is almost 7 months I'll give the run down of her 6 month check up! It is amazing how similiar she and Brayden are in growth and looks! Thank goodness she seems to be a little more mellow! ;)

Ashlynn... 19.7 lbs and 27.5 inches tall. 97th % in weight, and 95th in height.
Brayden.... 20 lbs and 27.8 inches tall at 6 months!

She is sitting up now, becoming much more vocal (oh so close to saying momma... and dada), eating baby food and puffs, and trying to get up on all fours... not quite there yet. She follows Brayden's every move and lights up when he's around! If you are holding her when he walks up she starts kicking and getting really excited. It's too cute!! And obviously she's growing like a weed!

Fort Walton Beach 2012

What an amazing trip!!! Brayden pretty much had a smile on his face from the time we got there to the time we left... he was in HEAVEN! Seeing him this happy warmed my heart so much! He was definitely on overload... so many fun things to do! Morning walks on the beach, swimming in the big pool, going around the lazy river over and OVER again, deep sea fishing, walking the pier, catching crabs at night, going out to dinner... it was just wonderful!!!

Ashlynn was pretty easy... next year she will be running around so I can imagine we'll have our work cut out for us... ha! I think this was my favorite trip down to Florida ever!

I can't believe our trip is already over! :(
