Another Best Pic!!

The first picture is awesome!! I actually left his hat a restaurant today and thought I lost it... I went back and found it so I figured I better get some pics of him in it. Too cute! The hat is actually reversible. One side is plaid and the other has a dinosaur on it that matches his outfit. I have pictures of it both ways, but the first pic is AWESOME!!

Mom or Dad?

Check out these pictures of Brayden compared with pictures of Bobby and me when we were his age. It's amazing how much he looks like both of us! Sometimes he looks more like me, but then sometimes he looks more like Bobby. I think he got the best aspects of each of us!!

Here's Bobby's baby picture with one of Brayden that looks similar. I think this shot of Brayden makes him look just like his Dad when he was younger!! Especially the expression on their faces! Too cute!




And here's one of me with a similar shot of Brayden. I wasn't able to catch a good picture of Brayden on his belly like the picture of me, but you can see the similarities in our mouths and noses. I haven't gotten a picture that really captures how much I think Brayden looks like me when I was a baby. This was the best I could do. You definitely see it more in person!

Doc Appt Update!

Brayden went to the pediatrician last Thursday, July 24th. It was time for his first set of shots. I was sad thinking about him getting them, and a little anxious, but I did much better than I thought... and so did he. He did let out a loud cry, but calmed down pretty quickly. I was so concerned with calming him that I didn't cry myself. ;)

He weighed 11 lbs 9 ounces! He has gained a whole 5 lbs since he was born 7 weeks ago! I can't believe how fast he is growing. On one aspect I am excited about all the new things he is doing and how cute he is getting, but on another aspect it makes me sad he is growing so quickly! Feels like every time I blink my eyes he gets bigger!

The BIG 4 weeks!

Today Brayden is 4 weeks old! They even celebrated with fireworks for this special day! ;) Haha!

We went to the Drillers game and they even had a great fireworks show at the end! Brayden did great with the fireworks. They were pretty darn loud since they shot the fireworks from the field. He didn't cry or get upset at all... just enjoyed his bottle and the show!

3 weeks today!

Today Brayden is 3 weeks old! He is growing so much... going through clothes like they are going out of style. Makes me sad that he only wears some outfits a few times. :( Everything is so cute!

2 week check up!

We went to the pediatrician today for his 2 week follow up from our last visit. He weighed 6 lbs 10 ounces on our last visit and today he weighed 8 lbs 4 ounces!! I wasn't sure if that was too much, but they said it was great and were definitely happy about it! We just flew through 7 lbs and went on up past 8!!

They also suggested we start doing tummy time. The nurse tried it out while we were there and he started pushing up and lifting his head. She said that sometimes that doesn't even happen until 2 months. WOW... Brayden is doing great! ;)

Here's a picture of him today in his By the Sea outfit. He always seems to be sleeping when I get his picture! Soon he'll be awake more and we'll get some great pics with his blue eyes! We are hoping his eyes stay blue, but you never know.
