Having fun at Jayde's b-day party!

Here's Brayden at Jayde's birthday party! He had a lot of fun and was running all over the place.

Check out the videos at the bottom of Brayden going down the big slide! He even went on his own and wasn't sure about it at first, but then he wanted to go over and over. After 4 times, I was ready for him to stop... I was quite nervous!

Brayden loves to sit down and read his books! Especially the ones he gets to lift the flaps to see what's underneath.

Where's Brayden's belly button?

There it is!

It's been so cute to see Brayden learn where his belly button is! Sometimes when we ask him, he'll point completely off, but it's still so cute! As you can see in these pictures, he's got it down pat!

Trip to the Fair!

We went to the fair this year hoping Brayden was able to ride some of the kiddie rides, but he wasn't quite tall enough yet. We were bummed! Guess I pictured myself cramped into one of those kiddie rides with him. Not sure if they allow that, haha! We had fun anyways!

Ok, so when we walked into this building the first thing I said is... oh we don't want to put him in that big sand area... he will have sand all over him. Well, I went to find a restroom and where did I find the boys when I got back... in the sandbox! Boys will be boys! I guess I'll learn at some point! :)

First trip to the zoo!

We took our first trip to the zoo and Brayden loved it! I was actually surprised how well he did in his stroller all day, but he was so intrigued with everything. You could tell he was just soaking in all the new sights! I think his favorite was seeing all the different types of monkeys/chimps. Actually... his favorite thing we did was riding the carousel! :)

Handsome boy...

Even when he's messy, he's still handsome! Bobby did a great job catching this picture because Brayden does not leave hats on! He's so darn cute with them on though!

Mmm... chocolate pudding!

Brayden got a taste of chocolate pudding and he was one happy boy! :) He kind of acted like his mommy when she eats chocolate! Haha!

We let him dig in and chocolate was everywhere!!

More swimming!

I can't believe how brave Brayden has gotten in the pool! Each time we get in, he gets more and more brave. This time he walked straight down each of the steps and even off the last one... of course with me there to catch him once he started to go under. Each time he went under it startled him a little, but he never really got scared. As you can see, he likes to just jump in too! And he loved it when Dad threw him in the air! Too cute!

Helping mom sweep...

Brayden decided he wanted to help me sweep the kitchen floor. He was actually doing a pretty good job and looking oh so cute!

Predicament...

Brayden found himself in a predicament when he climbed into his walker on his own and couldn't get out. He was yelling at us to get him out, but we had to laugh and get a picture first! He wasn't too happy with us at the time... haha! :)

Playing in the bath!

Brayden loves bath time and he also likes to kill two birds with one stone by brushing his teeth at the same time he takes his bath! Haha!

Swimming and dancing...

Brayden absolutely loves to swim! He actually scares me because he tries to push off of us and swim on his own... he's a brave little boy for sure! We have tried using floaties and he doesn't quite like them yet. We will be taking swimming lessons soon. They have classes that start them at 6 months!

Brayden has also started dancing to some of his shows that play songs... here he is dancing to the Backyardigans! It's so cute! He spins in circles, stomps his feet and claps his hands. All along with laughing and yelling!

Lovin' the outdoors!

Brayden absolutely loves it outside! He will grab our hand and pull us to the door to take him outside and then throw a temper tantrum if we say no. Oh boy, does he ever throw temper tantrums! He can be quite the little turd, but he's the cutest little turd I've ever seen! ;)

Here he is playing next to the pond in my parents backyard. He loves to throw rocks in the pond and claps for himself after each throw! So cute!

Ball of ENERGY!

Whew! Brayden is a big ball of energy these days! Check out these pics! He's everywhere!

Also check out his shiner in the last two pics! It's not really a bruise, just a scrape, but it's his first one. He fell flat on his face on the concrete and of course we were all sad for him at the time, but like any true boy, he's proud of his battle wound! ;)
